Exclusive: Reactions emerge following killing of Hamas leader Sinwar
Reactions continue to trail the killing of Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, who was killed by the Israeli forces in the ongoing war that has reduced larger parts of the enclave to rubbles.
In a viral video shared online, Yahya Sinwar can be seen sitting calmly on an armchair, managing to throw an object at the drone in what appeared to be a fight to the last breath.
Reports say he was found by infantry soldiers searching an area in the Tal El Sultan area of southern Gaza, where they believed senior members of Hamas were located.
Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said “he tried to escape and our forces eliminated him.”
Reacting to the footage of the last moment of the Hamas leader, an X user, AntSpeaks, commented: “Him trying to fight off an advanced piece of technology with a stick just perfectly sums up the war between progress and primitive degeneracy.”
@TruthVsZionists, said “Hamas must send a true thank you message to the @IDF for this video. If it wasn’t for it, we would always remember him with the pics where he is martyred. But now, we will always remember him with such a dramatic, heroic, and inspirational last moments as a true leader.”
Another user however disagreed with the praises of Sinwar, stressing that “Israel’s actions are aimed at defending its citizens from the terrorist organization Hamas, which has continuously targeted Israeli civilians with rocket attacks. The IDF’s efforts are focused on dismantling Hamas’ infrastructure and preventing further harm to innocent lives.”
