Lebanon: 36 people killed, several others injured in past 24 hours
No fewer than 36 people were killed and 150 wounded in the past 24 hours alone as Israeli forces pound Lebanon hard as clashes with Hezbollah continue to spread.
This brings the total death toll from the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah to 2,119, with a staggering 10,019 people injured over the past year, according to Lebanon’s health ministry.
The situation on the ground remains dire, with 137 airstrikes and shelling incidents reported in the last day, primarily targeting southern Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut, and the eastern Bekaa Valley.

The displacement of civilians is another pressing concern, with approximately 181,700 people seeking shelter in 990 centers, including educational institutions and universities.
