Back and better: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman recovers from lung infection
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has made a full recovery from a lung infection, according to a statement released by the Royal Court on Wednesday.
The Royal Court expressed gratitude to God for the King’s swift recovery and wished him continued health and wellness.
“King Salman has completed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, medical examinations due to the inflammation in the lungs and that was recovered, praise be to God,” the Royal Court said, adding, “may God protect Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and grant him health and wellness,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Muslim Parrot reported that the King Salman had undergone medical tests on Sunday evening, following recommendations from the Royal Clinics due to lung inflammation. This precautionary measure ensured the King received prompt medical attention, leading to his successful recovery.
As the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman holds significant importance in Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world.
His symbolizes the ruler’s responsibility for guarding and maintaining the two holiest mosques in Islam: Al-Haram Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.
