Death toll in Gaza hits 41, 870 as more people confirmed killed in air raids

Over the last 24 hours, Israeli forces have launched attacks in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 45 Palestinians, according to local medical reports.
In addition to the fatalities, 256 people have sustained injuries, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Health authorities in Gaza have also confirmed that since the Israeli military offensive began on October 7, the death toll has reached a staggering 41,870 people, with 97,166 more injured. Emergency services continue to face significant challenges in reaching casualties across the war-torn enclave. According to local sources, many dead bodies and wounded individuals remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings or scattered across roads, as Israeli occupation forces have allegedly obstructed the movement of ambulances and civil defense crews.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached a critical point, with hospitals overwhelmed by the number of casualties and limited medical supplies. Aid organizations have repeatedly called for ceasefires or humanitarian corridors to allow for the evacuation of the wounded and to provide essential relief to the besieged population.
International reactions to the ongoing violence in Gaza have been mixed, with some governments calling for immediate de-escalation, while others have expressed support for Israel’s military actions.
The blockade on Gaza, in place for over a decade, has exacerbated the difficulties in providing timely aid and relief to those affected by the conflict.
As the fighting continues, the death toll is expected to rise further, deepening the tragedy for families and communities across Gaza. Local authorities and humanitarian organizations are urging the international community to take immediate action to prevent further loss of life.
