The meeting, which included officials from Iraq’s Communication and Media Commission (CMC), focused on integrating digital technologies to foster economic growth and enhance public services.
Al-Sudani emphasized Iraq’s evolving investment climate, noting the need for rapid digital transformation as major corporations expand their operations in the country. He highlighted ongoing government efforts in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and electronic payments, as well as the work of the Supreme Committee for Digital Transformation.

The Apple delegation proposed several initiatives to support Iraq’s technological advancement, including partnerships with universities, developer training programs, and a mobile phone registration system to ensure fair pricing for devices in Iraq.
