The health ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday that at least 41,252 people have been murdered in the war between Israel and Palestinian fighters, Hamas.

The toll includes 26 deaths in the previous 24 hours, according to the ministry.

Also, about 95,497 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the war began on October 7.

“Israeli forces killed 26 people and injured 84 others in three ‘massacres’ of families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

In defiance of a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has come under international condemnation for its continued offensive on Gaza following an October 7, 2023 attack by the Palestinian group Hamas.

The Israeli assault has displaced nearly the entire population of Gaza, exacerbating a humanitarian crisis marked by severe shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies due to the ongoing blockade. Israel now faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
