Riyadh security officials crack down on illegal tailoring of military uniforms, closes 8 shops

The security committee responsible for monitoring shops selling and sewing military uniforms in Riyadh impounded more than 600 military badges and emblems on Thursday, along with an embroidery machine used for unauthorized emblems.

Additionally, eight shops engaged in sewing military clothing without proper licensing were closed.

These actions were part of ongoing inspection tours, following directives from Riyadh authorities to curb violations and enforce legal measures against offenders.

In a similar development, the Eastern Province municipality conducted 336 inspections of food and commercial establishments in Al Lahabah, as part of its regular monitoring activities.

The municipality also carried out 78 inspections of construction sites, aiming to prevent building violations and ensure compliance with issued permits and specifications.

These efforts are intended to enhance the quality of urban development and promote a healthier environment.
