The two sides discussed strategies to strengthen their bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of politics, business, information technology, and digital technologies, in which Finland has considerable expertise.

The Iraqi Prime Minister also reviewed a contract signed between the Iraqi government and Wartsila for Samarra power plant’s maintenance, which was expected to start in spite of the delay in execution since the deal was signed in 2019.

Wartsila leads the transition towards complete renewable energy in the future. It offers adaptable, state-of-the-art services and solutions for managing sophisticated energy systems.
