Saudi Ministry of Culture launches Culture, Arts Training Pathways Initiative
The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the National e-Learning Center (NeLC), launched the Training Pathways Initiative in Culture and Arts that encompasses a number of cultural and artistic fields.
This initiative offers a range of training options across various cultural and artistic domains and fosters a culture of continuous learning and growth, inspiring national talent in the cultural field. It provides continuous educational and development opportunities in support of national competencies in the cultural sector.
Through these training pathways, the Ministry of Culture provides training opportunities that are fully funded by it. Moreover, the trainee obtains an opportunity to receive training from renowned international training bodies.
The initiative includes up to 30 paths with nearly 150 training programs covering multiple cultural sectors, most notably: culinary arts, theater and performing arts, libraries, films, fashion, heritage, visual arts, literature, publishing, and translation. The duration of the training programs varies according to the specialization of each cultural training track.
Through the initiative, the Ministry of Culture aims to enhance its cooperation with various educational and training entities in Saudi Arabia with the aim of establishing awareness and knowledge in various cultural sectors, and enhancing the abundance of content in the fields of culture and arts, in addition to providing multiple types of learning opportunities that suit different categories of beneficiaries. The initiative also provides educational opportunities for practitioners by providing the best sources of learning and knowledge.
