Muslim Media publisher commends ISNA for promoting unity, peace through interfaith forum
Sheikh Musa Drammeh, CEO of Muslim Media Cooperation, has lauded the efforts of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) in fostering unity and peace through the 2024 National Interfaith Forum held in Washington, D.C.
Drammeh highlighted the forum as a significant step towards achieving justice, unity, and peaceful coexistence. The event, orchestrated under the auspices of Dr. Sayyid Syeed, gathered prominent leaders from various religious backgrounds, underscoring the crucial role of interfaith dialogue in bridging divides in today’s increasingly polarized society.
Drammeh praised the eloquent speeches of Mr. Azhar Azeez, Mr. Basharat Saleem, Pastor Bob Roberts, and the adept MC, Mr. Arshan Khalid. However, the highlight was the tribute to Dr. Sayyid M. Sayeed, whose visionary leadership in fostering intrafaith and interfaith relations was celebrated by all speakers.
“Alhamdulillah! The forum was timely and needed,” Drammeh noted, expressing his delight in witnessing the genuine efforts towards unity and justice.
He called on fellow Muslim Americans to support ISNA, which is celebrating its sixtieth year of service, and looks forward to future collaborations to advance its noble mission.
The event underscored ISNA’s role in affirming common interests and destinies amidst global and national polarization, aiming to build a more just and perfect union.
