Iraq’s Hajj commission wins first place as the best Hajj delegation
The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, congratulated on Tuesday Iraq’s High Commission of Hajj and Umrah for winning first place as the best Hajj delegation for the second year.
“Congratulations and blessings to Iraq’s High Commission of Hajj and Umrah, which has won first place as the best Hajj delegation to Saudi Arabia for the second year in a row,” Al-Sudani said via X, formerly Twitter.
The Iraqi Prime Minister also described the achievement as a shining example of the performance of Iraqi institutions, both within the country and abroad, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported.
“The achievement also reflects the government’s boundless support to help Iraqi citizens worldwide,” Al-Sudani added.
Iraq’s pilgrimage delegation won the Labaitum Excellency Award as the highest-rated Islamic Hajj delegation according to the standards of 2024.
Iraq’s High Commission of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement that the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, presented the Labaitum Excellency Award to the head of Iraq’s High Commission of Hajj and Umrah, Sami Al-Masoudi, during a ceremony held by the ministry in Saudi Arabia.
