Saudi Arabia, Mauritania discuss military, defense cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Mauritania convened on Wednesday to discuss military and defense collaboration, as affirmed by Vice Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, and Minister of National Defense of Mauritania, Hanena Ould Sidi.

The primary agenda of their meeting centered on fortifying bilateral ties, specifically aiming to bolster military and defense cooperation between the two nations.

Moreover, the gathering served as a platform for both sides to deliberate on ongoing regional developments, emphasizing the necessity for coordinated endeavors to tackle prevailing challenges and uphold security and stability in the region.

Prominent attendees included Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Khaled bin Hussein Al-Biyari, and Director of the Office of the Vice Minister of Defense Abdullah Al-Hajri, alongside the visiting Mauritanian delegation.
