Makkah Deputy Emir engages with leaders of Islamic chambers in Halal industry dialogue

The deputy emir of the Makkah region, hosted a significant meeting at the emirate’s headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday. The gathering welcomed heads of boards of directors from Islamic chambers actively participating in the Makkah Halal Forum. This event serves as a platform for insightful discussions on crucial matters pertaining to the global halal industry.

During the session, Prince Saud attentively absorbed a comprehensive briefing on the diverse activities of the forum. The extensive agenda includes over 10 discussion sessions and 250 meetings, all focused on exploring various facets of the halal industry sector worldwide.

Organized by the Manafea Agreement and the Islamic Chamber for Halal Services (ICHS), the three-day forum is being hosted under the theme “Creativity in the Halal Industry” at the Makkah Chamber of Exhibitions and Events Center. The strategic collaboration of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority as event partners adds significant weight to the proceedings.

Notably, the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development are actively participating in this pivotal event. Their involvement underscores the collective effort to address and propel the halal industry forward, with the forum providing a crucial platform for collaboration and innovation.

As the event unfolds, participants engage in an array of discussions that delve into the multifaceted aspects of the halal industry.
