Saudi FM, EU official discuss Gaza situation in Al Ula
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, hosted the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, in Al Ula on Monday. The focal point of their discussions centered on the evolving situation in the Gaza Strip, with particular emphasis on ongoing humanitarian efforts.
The leaders deliberated on the collaborative initiatives being undertaken to address the challenges faced in Gaza, underscoring the importance of humanitarian assistance. Beyond the Gaza developments, the meeting provided an opportunity to scrutinize and enhance the existing bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the European Union.
In attendance were key figures contributing to the diplomatic discourse, including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Saudi Ambassador to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Association, Haifa bint Abdurrahman Al-Jedea, and Talal Al-Enezi, Director of the European Union Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The collective engagement signifies the commitment of both Saudi Arabia and the European Union to maintaining a constructive dialogue on regional affairs and strengthening their diplomatic ties.
