In a powerful address during an extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia strongly denounced Israel’s unjust war on Palestine.

The Crown Prince labeled the conflict a “humanitarian catastrophe,” emphasizing the failure of the international community and the Security Council to curb Israeli violations.

Addressing the summit on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Prince Mohammed called for an immediate halt to military operations and the establishment of humanitarian corridors to aid civilians affected by the crisis. He condemned the destruction of hospitals, places of worship, and infrastructure, highlighting the tragic toll on innocent civilians, including children and the elderly.

Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed stated, has been actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to protect Gazan civilians, collaborating with international partners. The Crown Prince demanded the release of hostages and detainees, emphasizing the urgency of preserving lives and protecting the innocent.

Pointing to the failure of the Security Council and the international community to address Israeli violations, Prince Mohammed stressed the violation of international laws and humanitarian norms. He called for a coordinated global effort to lift the blockade, provide humanitarian aid, and secure medical supplies for those in need.

Expressing Saudi Arabia’s unwavering rejection of aggression, occupation, and forced displacement in Gaza, the Crown Prince held the occupying authorities accountable for crimes against the Palestinian people and their resources.

He reiterated the kingdom’s stance that the path to regional security and stability involves ending the occupation, siege, and settlement, ensuring the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and establishing their independent state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
