KSrelief delegation arrives in Cairo to forge Saudi aid path to Gaza
A specialized task force representing the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) touched down in the heart of Cairo, Egypt, on Tuesday. Their mission: to deliberate and strategize the precise mechanism for delivering Saudi humanitarian assistance to the beleaguered Gaza Strip.
This mission follows a noble directive issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman. In line with their call, a nationwide fundraising campaign has been launched on the Sahem platform of KSrelief, with the aim of providing essential relief provisions to the people of Gaza. In an exemplary act of generosity, the King and Crown Prince personally contributed SR50 million to the cause just last week.
The KSrelief delegation engaged in discussions with Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama Ahmed Naqli, during their Cairo visit. Their focus centered on streamlining and expediting the processes involved in transporting and dispatching shelter materials, food aid, and vital medical supplies to those impacted by the dire situation in the Gaza Strip. The emphasis remains firmly on addressing humanitarian priorities as expeditiously as possible, particularly through the Rafah crossing.
