Twenty-five-year-old woman fatally involved in accident in Brooklyn

A 25-year-old woman has reportedly gotten involved in a fatal accident in Brooklyn.

A driver allegedly hit the woman when crossing a Brooklyn street. This was confirmed by the police on Wednesday.

Vorda Begum, 25, was crossing Flatlands Ave. near Ralph Ave. in Flatlands when she was hit by the driver of a 2014 Ford Focus.

Cops said the accident occurred just before 9:40 p.m. Monday.

Medics rushed Begum with head and body injuries to Brookdale University Hospital but she could not be saved.

According to cops, she lived in Ozone Park, Queens

The driver, also 25, remained at the scene and was not charged.

Police said Begum was crossing mid-block when she was hit.
