Former President Donald Trump and his two oldest children, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr, have agreed to testify under oath in the New York State Attorney General’s civil investigation into their businesses, prosecutors and the Trumps’ lawyers said in court Wednesday.

The Trumps will appear to testify Friday, July 15, with proceedings potentially continuing into the next week, according to a stipulation filed in court.
A state court initially ordered Trump and his children to testify on Feb. 17, but the Trumps appealed the decision later that month. On May 26, the Appellate Division of New York’s Supreme Court — the state’s second highest court — denied the appeal and ordered the family to testify within 14 days.
According to court documents released Wednesday, the attorney general and the Trumps’ lawyers agreed on the July 15 date to allow time for more preparation and a possible appeal to the Court of Appeals, the state’s highest court. The Trumps have until June 13 to file an appeal.

Another of Trump’s sons, Eric, and the Trump Organization CEO, Allen Weisselberg, previously testified in the case.

In April, New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron, presiding over the case, held Trump in civil contempt with a penalty of $10,000 a day for failing to comply with a subpoena from Attorney General Letitia James.
The investigation centers on the Trump Organization’s business practices, which James alleged includes using “fraudulent or misleading” valuations of his properties across the state.
