Three people stabbed at LA hospital
Three people have been injured in a stabbing attack at a Los Angeles hospital Friday, police said.
Cops said the suspect was barricaded in a room, with officers outside.
The faceoff on Friday left three people injured.
The victims include a doctor and two nurses, according to sources. They were taken to a trauma center at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center which is about 15-minute drive north.
The victims were reported to be in critical condition
The attack was reported around 3:45 p.m. at Encino Hospital Medical Center, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Two days earlier at a hospital in Tulsa, four people were killed in a shooting.
The gunman was reportedly targeting a surgeon he was upset with. Police did not speculate on a motive for Friday’s attack.
