Senegalese President, AU Chairman discuss terrorism, food security, others with OIC special envoy
Senegalese President Macky Sall, together with the current Chairman of African Union, has on Friday, May 27 2022, met with Special Envoy from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Africa, Mr. Nassirou Bako-Arifari to discuss various issues tackling the African continent.
The meeting which took place in the capital of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo, saw the dignitaries discuss matters of urgency.
President Macky Sall of the Republic of Senegal, together with other conversationalists of the assembly offered opinions on topics of concern to the African continent. This included terrorism, food security and humanitarian issues.
Relaying messages from OIC Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Mr. Nassirou Bako-Arifari also had the opportunity to exchange views during the discussion focusing specifically on the Lake Chad Basin and Sahel region.
