Police shoot man in Bronx following dispute
New York Police Department officers have allegedly shot a man following a dispute.
The shooting occurred at the intersection of Garrison Avenue and Hunts Point Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, police say.
The unidentified man was transported to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police sources said the dispute between the man and police officers happened over narcotics.
The NYPD is expected to hold a press conference about the incident.
