Luna Park reopens for the 2022 season
Luna Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn has reopened on Saturday, April 2, 2022 to officially kick off the 2022 season.
The festivities included the traditional egg cream christening of the 95-year-old Cyclone roller coaster.
Children of Promise New York City counselor Apart Murali, and Kaylani Sihibdeea rode a roller coaster on opening day of Luna Park in Brooklyn.
Members of the Brooklyn United Music and Arts Program Marching Band were present to entertain the crowd.
Senators Chuck Schumer and Diane Savio were also present at the opening where the former delivered a speech during the ceremony.
Visitors enjoyed the opening day of Luna Park.
