NASFAT Inaugurates Empowerment, Dawah Centre

The Owutu Branch of the Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), has inaugurated a centre for its empowerment and Dawah programmes.

This was disclosed in an official statement posted on its Facebook page on Monday August 9, 2021.

According to the statement, the centre was donated by a Philanthropist, Alhaja Azeezat Balogun.

Alhaja Balogun said the donation was aimed at seeking Allah’s blessings and forgiveness on behalf of her late mother.

While expressing its appreciation, NASFAT said in a statement, “Alhamdullillahi Rabilliallamin for the official ‘commissioning’ of NASFAT Owutu Outreach Centre for Empowerment and Dawah donated by a philanthropist on behalf of her late mother. Barakallahu Feeh.”

Speaking about the donation, NASFAT President, Alh. Niyi Yusuf, who was represented by the National Secretary-General of the Society, Alh Gbenga Sunmonu, appreciated the donor of the centre.

Alh. Sunmonu stated that all activities at the Centre would be tailored in line with the NASFAT theme, “HELD” : health, education, livelihood and Dawah.

In his words, “We sincerely appreciate the donor of this centre. It is a genuine act of ‘ibadah’ and a massive contribution to the growth and development of this Society.”

He added, “We pray that Almighty Allah grant her heart desires and overlook the iniquities of her late mother.”

In his keynote, the z+Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Mustapha Alabi, expressed his excitement over the donation. He stressed that the mosque was not only built for worship of Allah, it was also an avenue for vocational training for the Muslim Ummah.

In attendance, representing the NASFAT National Executive Council, were also Alhaji Alaraba Kabeer, Alhaja Fauziat Ọladọja and the National Empowerment Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Saka.

Members of the Zonal Executive Council under the leadership of Alh Mustapha Alabi were also among the stakeholders present at the official inauguration.

Among the ZEC members present were the Zonal Women’s Affairs Management Secretary, Alhaja Sidiqot Otunbade, the Zonal PR Sec. Image Maker Of Nasfat Lagos Zone 1, Hajia Fausiat Salakọ-Sanni, Zonal Health Secretary, Alhaja Rahmat Daramola, Zonal Welfare Secretary, Alh. AbdulAmeen Ganiyu.

Others included Zonal Children’s Affairs Sec., Alhaja Ajileye, Zonal Membership Sec, Alh. Kasumu, as well as Zonal Security Sec, Alh Ogunsanwo and Youth Secretary, Hajj Olowu Quaam, who was represented by his Zonal Youth PR Sec. Hajj, Oyewoga Hassan Babatunde.

Meanwhile, the Zonal Missioner, Alhaji Misbaudeen Olawale Muali and Alhaji Alli Bolaji Atunrashe, the Nasfat Owutu Branch Missioner, Alhaji Abdul-Hakeem Alaran, and other Mission Board members prayed for the family of the donor, NASFAT society, Muslim Ummah and Nigeria at large for peace, unity and harmony in the country .

The host Branch Chairman, Alhaji Ojuolape, the Owutu Branch Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Modinat Ishola, as well as the branch members, including Youthwing of the Branch were all also present at the event.
