Hon. Olalekan AbdulRasheed Afolabi, who represents Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency in State of Osun, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in his federal constituency.

In a statement signed on Thursday May 13, 2021, the Ikirun born federal lawmaker expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful completion of the 30-day spiritual exercise.

While commending his constituents, Afolabi stated that he appreciated the level of total obedience to Allah, kindness to fellow human beings and remarkable compliance with the directives of constituted authorities throughout the month of Ramadan.

He implored the constituents that the acts are worthy of continuation even after Ramadan.

“This year Ramadan was a successful one despite some security challenges our country battles. We must continue to pray to Almighty Allah to restore peace and orderliness to our national territory so that progress and development can be attained,” the statement reads.

It adds, “Moreso, the kind of religious understanding, general observation of fasting rights in line with established protocols and good human relations to each other both in cash and kinds which gave birth to a peaceful atmosphere throughout is a pride to all and must be sustained even after Ramadan.”

Asoju Rere as fondly called by his people urged his constituents to celebrate moderately with families and friends through extension of hands of fellowship to loved ones and those in needs in compliance with Covid-19 protocols in order for everyone to feel the sweetness and uniqueness of the festival.

He therefore wished everyone Happy Eidl Fitri and prayed for acceptance of all their prayers, supplications and charity.
