New York police molest, assault protesters in Bronx
The New York police have assaulted and molested peaceful protesters in South Bronx.
The incident which was reported last night was a
violent assault by the NYPD on civilians they entrapped, harassed and molested.
“We have received confirmation from several credible sources that the NYPD in the South Bronx entrapped hundreds of protesters before the 8pm curfew in Mott Haven blocking them from leaving and being able to comply,” One of the protesters, Tanya Denise Fields, reported.
“We have live stream footage confirming violent assault by the NYPD on civilians,” she added.
She also reported that hundreds of officers were at the ready to thwart the protest, stressing that it was a violation against their rights to peaceful protests.
“This is a violent assault on our people and what’s supposed to be our constitutional rights.
“By all accounts this was a peaceful protest and the only violence came from the NYPD. Nobody is right here doing violence. Nobody is destroying property, she stated.
“We were here at the rally earlier and it was without incident except hundreds of officers ready to intimidate,” Fields concluded.
In a video uploaded on social media, the protesters were shouting, “We are peaceful; what the fuck are you.”
