Arsonist of Ajloun forest fires arrested

The Ajloun security forces have announced the arrest of the alleged mastermind of the forest fires in the Halawa region in Ajloun governorate.

While disclosing this on Sunday May 17, 2020, the governor of Ajloun, Salman Al-Najada, stated that “The brain behind the fires had been arrested.”

He added that more than 500 dunums of forest and fruit trees and fruit were affected in the region.

Al-Najada further stressed that “There is no negligence with the perpetrators of such irresponsible acts that harm the nation’s capabilities and properties.

“The most severe measures will be taken in this case.”
