Anthony Joshua challenges Fury to determine world’s champion
Anthony Joshua has insisted that Tyson Fury should come and fight him if he really wants to prove himself as No.1.
Joshua, a heavyweight champion holds the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles.
With Fury defeating Deontay Wilder on 22 February in Las Vegas, to become WBC champion, Joshua and Fury have become two best world’s heavyweight champions.
Joshua has challenged Fury to a fight saying that there must a clash between him and fury to determine who is No.1 heavyweight champion.
“I’m the unified heavyweight champion of the world, he’s the WBC champion,” said Joshua.
Josua further said if Fury wanted to prove himself as No.1, he should take up the challenge to fight him.
“Yes, come fight me. If you really want to say you’re No.1, come fight me. Let’s get it on,” Joshua added.
Giving reasons why he has challenged Fury to a fight, Joshua said, there should be one dominant undisputed figure in the heavyweight division who would have all the belts and that would only be determined with a fight between them.
“What it will prove me and him fighting? There will be one dominant figure in the heavyweight division that will have all of the belts and become undisputed,” said, Joshua.
The fight between Joshua and Fury seems to be the must-wanted fight in boxing and as a result both have been in many way pushed to square off against each other, but they are both occupied with other fights before them.
