Syrian refugee shot dead in US

Khaled Heeba, 31, a Syrian refugee has been shot and killed in the United States.

Khaled, a victim of US brutality fled Syrian to the USA and resided in the Baltimore city where he ran pissa delivery route.

Heeba became a victim to the Baltimore’s years-long gun violence as he was sot in the chest while running his normal deivery route.

Two weeks after the attack, his death still remianed unsolved.

He came to the USA with his parents in 2016 after he escaped the Syrian civil war. His death is one of the more than 40 homicide cases recorded this year.

“He left his own country because it was a war-zone in Syria, just for him to end up getting murdered here,” a Heeba’s coworker, Theresa Birmingham, said.

Similarly, Heeba’s mother said that she was happy with Heeba because it was his practice to ask her to be happy with him every time he came back from work.

“He was always concerned with our pleasure before his own. He’d work a long day and then come back and kiss my hands and feet and say ‘Mama – be happy with me’,” she said.

“Wallahi I was always happy with him,” Heeba’s mother added.
