The Paul Manafort And Rick Gates Trial Is A Classic Example Of How White Males Gain Wealth By Lying, Cheating, Stealing And Not Paying Taxes
Washington DC – The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI) a faith-based coalition of 34,000 churches comprised of 15 denominations and 15.7 million African Americans, says that the Paul Manafort case is an acute example of how white males have traditionally gained wealth. Through lying, cheating, stealing and not paying taxes.
This is nothing new. It is as old as the Scriptures. The first thing is that they are rarely prosecuted for white collar crime. The Obama Justice Department refused to prosecute any of the eleven white bankers who destroyed the economy. Their rationale was that they should spend time on healing the economy as opposed to going after those who destroyed the economy.
In other words, they allowed white males who committed over 4,000 multiple banking felonies to walk free and on top of that gave them $700,000,000,000.00 of our money. Every single white male who participated in the housing crisis 10-years ago is still rich and free and they have maintained their wealth through lying, cheating and stealing.
Rev. Anthony Evans, President of the National Black Church Initiative says, “This country has been very clear concerning white males. If you are rich, white and well connected, the law does not apply to you. But, if you are poor or even rich and Black and you commit any sort of felony or misdemeanor you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent and thrown into jail for the lengthiest amount of time. Justice is not only denied it is downright unfair.”
Manafort would have never been prosecuted if he never accepted to be chairman of President Trump’s election campaign. He would have floated under the radar. It is only because of his involvement with Russia and the Russia meddling investigation, coupled with Trump’s historic unpredictable win, that he was prosecuted. This does not change the fact that white males who commit multiple felonies are rarely prosecuted or even caught at all.
It seems also that the head of major pharmaceutical companies that have caused the deaths of over 350,000,000 Americans overdosing on their opioid drugs, will never be tried for murder nor prosecuted. They will be able to keep their wealth through lying cheating and stealing.
