The Aggression on Peaceful Civilian Protesters in Gaza by the Occupying Israeli Army 

(New York 04/03/18) – The Majlis Ash-Shura (Islamic Leadership Council) of Metropolitan New York condemns in the strongest terms the shameful killing of the peaceful civilian protesters in Gaza by the occupying Israeli forces. “This weekend, Palestinians in Gaza buried their loved ones after Israeli snipers killed at least 18 unarmed, peaceful protesters and injured more than 1000 others.”

The ongoing killing of peaceful protesters and unarmed civilians is a violation of the fundamental civil and human rights of the Palestinians.  The Islamic Leadership Council is calling on the US government to stop supporting the Israeli State policy of killing peaceful demonstrators, and suspend all financial and military aid to Israel.Without any impunity whatsoever, the Israeli state keeps on killing the peaceful and unarmed civilians and ignoring the international and UN calls for respecting the rights of the Palestinians. It is incumbent on all those with moral and wisdom to stand in support of the Palestinians for the right to freedom, democracy, and justice.
