As we thankfully enter the last and most important ten days of Peace December after successfully achieving multiple milestones countering the trend of increased global violence, our mission is evermore crucial in the final days. Lawlessness, insolvency, over consumptions of intoxicants, robberies, hangovers, accidents, sexual, bias and other attacks are all peaked during these days of the year. And this has been a routine cause for societal disharmony, family and neighborly conflicts. As a result, we must finish the month strong and change this disheartening reality.
Against this backdrop, Peace December International and its partners encourage the public in general to increase our collective efforts in countering these public safety challenges affecting all of us, especially around Christmas time. Crime, violence and poverty aren’t inevitable, they are accepted and normalized. Let us peace our divided human family together for the sake harmony and more peace in the world.
Peace December will strengthen its resolve in mobilizing its membership in transforming as many hateful and unhanged souls as feasible in these ten days. And if, through these neighborly interactions, we make a positive impact on one person in each locality, there is a possibility that we have averted a major local, national or global tragedy.
