9 Christians die after Hindu terrorists’ attack on church, UN condemns
Chattisgarh: Nine Christians died and several people wounded in the critical situation in hospital after the Hindu extremists attacked a church in on Sunday October 23, 2017, according to Zee TV News. This attack was strongly condemned by the United Nations.
It had been told that many of them are still in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) after the Hindu extremist gang attacked when they were worshiping in a Church on regular basis.
International Christian Concern based United States- NGO reported, “A mob of about 300 Hindu radicals interrupted Sunday service at the Bastar for Christ Movement Church located in Jasapara village in the Dantewada District OF India’s Chhattisgarh state.”
“The mob beat the men, women and children of congregation and dragged them out of the building.
“They fired the church’s furniture and also stripped some of the Christian women.”
ICC regional manager William Stark said, “Attacks on Christian Indians and their churches are becoming “an almost daily occurrence,” he stressed, “Christians in India feel like second class citizens.”
According to the police reports Raja Sodi and Sangreetha Kartami injured their hands and heads and were rushed to the government run hospitals.
Furthermore, government-run hospitals were deprived of basic medical apparatus and medicines, even though the doctors are not available at time.
