Civility In Our Civics
Dear patriotic citizens:
This is an advice from a proud American immigrant and a civic activist. No matter how much we disagree with our elected officials and their positions on issues dear to us, there must never, ever be violence in settling that disagreement. Never attack them, their families and staff. NEVER! This nation is an exemplary human endeavor in which folks from all walks of life, backgrounds and choices come together as one for their nation and individuals with their beliefs. While there are disagreements to some of the decisions (or lack thereof) of our political leaders make, three things must be considered. 1) They’re as patriotic as you are, 2) you may not know the full extend of their struggles before making decisions, and 3) they always think of their constituents and reelections ahead. So you may be advocating for the interests of a few, but they represent the interests of many. Long Live Democracy! BRONXATTITUDE! #bronxattitude
