Police in Zimbabwe is hunting for three women who reportedly raped a 33 yr old national army after reportedly forcing him to drink an unknown substance.
The incident occurred on Sunday. After exhausting him, the women dumped the soldier in a bushy area on the outskirts of Gweru town.
The soldier gained his consciousness after some time and reported the incident at Gweru police station.
According to Zimbabwe’s Midlands police spokesperson Inspector Leonard Chabata, the soldier was waiting for a taxi from Gweru to Harare city when a vehicle in which were three women stopped and offered him a lift.
He said that upon approaching Ridgemont turn-off, one of the women allegedly took a container from her handbag and sprayed an unknown substance on the soldier.
The soldier later felt weak and was sexually abused by the women who later dumped him leaving him unconscious.
Chabata said, ‘When he gained consciousness he discovered that he had been dumped in a bushy area about 100m away from the highway. He also discovered that his pair of trousers and undergarments had been removed.’
He appealed to members of the public to always use public transport when traveling instead of accepting lifts from people they do not know.
