The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent remarks regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia.

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the GCC’s Secretary-General, denounced the statement as “dangerous and irresponsible,” emphasizing that it reflects Israel’s continued disregard for international laws, UN resolutions, and the sovereignty of nations.

Reaffirming the GCC’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, Albudaiwi stated that the bloc remains committed to ensuring that Palestinians secure their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent state with occupied East Jerusalem as its capital.

He reiterated the necessity of a two-state solution as the only viable path to lasting peace in the region.

Albudaiwi further urged the international community to take a decisive stance against Israel’s provocative rhetoric, warning that such statements threaten both regional stability and global security.
