Jeremy Corbyn, the former Labour Party leader, has announced his move to lead a protest march to the US Embassy, demanding an end to US arms sales to Israel.

The demonstration was a call to action for peace and justice in Palestine, with Corbyn vowing to continue the fight until meaningful change is achieved.

He wrote on Facebook: ” Today, we marched to the U.S embassy with a simple demand: stop arming Israel.

”We are going to be here as long as it takes to bring about peace and justice. We will never walk away from the people of Palestine.”

Corbyn, known for his long-standing support for Palestinian rights, has consistently spoken out against Israel’s actions. As a Member of Parliament since 1983, he has advocated for a united Ireland and Palestinian statehood.

His activism has included involvement with Anti-Fascist Action, the Anti-Apartheid Movement, and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

The protest reflects growing concerns about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the role of international powers in perpetuating it. Corbyn’s demand for the US to stop arming Israel echoes sentiments shared by many who seek a peaceful resolution. By marching to the US Embassy, Corbyn and fellow protesters aimed to pressure the US government to reassess its policies.
