Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Houthi group, has issued a statement, affirming the group’s readiness to counter any potential aggression by the United States and Israel against Yemen.

Al-Houthi stressed the group’s unwavering commitment to defending its nation.

He also reiterated the group’s solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, who are facing an escalating humanitarian crisis.

In addition , he described the situation as a “genocide” and reaffirmed the group’s continued support for the Palestinian cause, underscoring the importance of unity against common adversaries.

“The Yemeni front continues to support and position itself towards Gaza, and has not submitted or retreated despite the American, Israeli and British pressure and aggression,” Al-Houthi said in a televised address.

“We are on a practical path preparing for any level of escalation that the United States and Israel may resort to,” he added, explaining that the group has continued to carry out naval operations against Israeli-owned and Israel bound ships in addition to striking Israel with missiles and drones.

“At the height of the battle and amid the terrible Zionist crimes, our front is present, ongoing and effective,” he added.

Since earlier this year, the US-led coalition has been launching strikes against Houthi sites in Yemen in retaliation for their solidarity with Gaza.
