Somali forces, international partners eliminate 47 Al-Shabaab militants in joint operation

A successful joint operation conducted by the Somali National Army and international partners has resulted in the elimination of 47 Al-Shabaab militants in the Galgudud region.

The raid serves as a significant blow to the terrorist group’s operations was announced by the Ministry of Information in a statement.

Reports say the joint forces targeted and destroyed a vehicle laden with explosives, which Al-Shabaab had planned to use in carrying out devastating bomb attacks on civilians.
