In a bid to foster tourism and investment opportunities throughout the African continent, Daylight Africa, the pioneering continentwide tourism platform, is gearing up to mark its second annual event, Daylight Africa Week.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by Sheikh Musa Drammeh, the visionary founder of Daylight Africa, on Thursday August 31, 2023.

According to the statement, the event is scheduled to take place from Saturday, September 2nd to Sunday, September 10, 2023, across various African destinations.

Anticipation is high as the exuberant Daylight Africa New York delegation prepares to embark on a journey to Senegambia, departing from JFK Airport on Saturday, September 2nd.

The delegation’s leadership will be under the guidance of Sheikh Musa Drammeh and Ms. Eunice Ukwuani, a distinguished lawyer and esteemed board member of the organization.

The statement reads in full:

“Daylight Africa Week, initiated last September in Senegal and The Gambia, is a collaborative effort by both the African diaspora and continental residents.

“The primary objective of this event is to bolster global tourism to and investment in Africa, propelling the continent toward greater economic prosperity.

“Looking forward to the near future, plans are already in motion for Daylight Africa Week’s political delegation, slated to commence in September 2024.

“This delegation will embark on a tour that will include meetings with the African Union’s chairperson and representatives from neighboring countries, further cementing the event’s diplomatic significance.

“A monumental stride is set to be taken by September 2025, as Daylight Africa envisions sending a remarkable count of 12 tourists to each of the 54 African nations during the annual Daylight Africa Week.

“To materialize this ambitious goal, the organization has formulated a comprehensive strategy encompassing financial backing from corporate sponsors, governmental support, individual donors, and the implementation of merchandising initiatives.

“It’s important to note that while Daylight Africa Week is concentrated within the initial week of September, the scope of travel and investment arrangements is perpetual, with meticulous coordination of group, corporate, and individual travel experiences throughout the year.”
