Next week, history shall be made in the State of New York. On Monday, February 8th, NYS elected officials, under the generous leadership of Hon. Jose Rivera, former Bronx Democratic County Chair, will officially recognize and sanction ‘March 2nd, Claudette Colvin Day’ in the historic presence of Ms Claudette Colvin in the legislative chambers of the Capitol Hill. She will be accompanied by hundreds of her supporters and the students from other states. Please make sure your youth do not miss this one of a lifetime occasion. #claudettecolvinday
On Saturday, February 13th, during ‘Black and Puerto Rican Caucus, Peace December will be hosting a forum in addressing rising violence and extremism in New York City and beyond. A must attend forum for individuals who are concerned about gun violence and violent crimes in general.#peacedecember
